He has since seen CR7 become a global icon and fellow all-time great, with IShowSpeed seemingly left a little puzzled as to how the most legendary of names has lived on in world football.

WHAT ISHOWSPEED SAID ABOUT RONALDO
The American social media star said to R9 during a chat on his : “You got the same name as Ronaldo, are you Ronaldo's dad?” The puzzled South American responded by saying: “What do you mean? I'm Ronaldo, the first Ronaldo.” IShowSpeed was not going to let the issue go, and went on to say: “Exactly, you're the first Ronaldo so are you Ronaldo's dad?”

IShowSpeed has never shied away from his Ronaldo fandom, with every opportunity taken to throw shade in the direction of Lionel Messi. He has done that once again during his meeting with R9, saying when asked “you love Ronaldo more than Messi?: I don't like Messi because he is short and he's trash. Cristiano Ronaldo is better.”

WHAT NEXT?
Messi and Ronaldo are preparing to rekindle their long-running rivalry at the start of 2024, with the pair set to face off in the Riyadh Cup on February 1. That meeting between MLS side Inter Miami and Saudi Pro League outfit Al-Nassr is being billed as ‘The Last Dance’ – with there every chance that IShowSpeed will be among those in attendance.
