THE BIGGER PICTURE
The round of 16 matchup hung in the balance after Trossard's goal, which equalised the tie at 1-1 on aggregate. The Gunners did get more into their groove in the second half, powered by a passionate 60,000-strong crowd, but Porto's gritty defence were resolute. Notably, Odegaard also found the net but a foul on Porto goalkeeper Diogo Costa by Kai Havertz during the build-up saw his strike ruled out by the referee.
